Monday Update

ShopPosted by Cleopetra Mon, March 18, 2013 10:07:41
Last week not much happened on this blog - not even The Thursday Theme. The reason for that is that there are a lot of things happening at the moment in all areas of my life.

I have made a few more patterns that have not been mentioned here yet. One that is Peacock inspired and one that is inspired by my coat... I have a lovely retro coat that is the same colours as the second pattern. It's very bright and definitely cheers you up on a rainy day (and oh do we have a lot of them over here!).

Peacock Flower products are here.

Groovy Waves Pattern products are here.

My new pattern for this week's theme has made it into my shop.

The two versions I liked the best were the coloured one without outlines and the black & white one. See more by clicking the links below.

One Pattern / Two styles

ShopPosted by Cleopetra Fri, March 01, 2013 14:22:48
I could not decide which version I preferred of the pattern I designed today so both these styles are now in my shop. Same pattern but one is really bright and cheerful and the other one i minimalist and simple. Just by changing the colours (or really removing the colours) the overall feel can change a lot.

Shop update: New pattern "Tivoli"

ShopPosted by Cleopetra Fri, February 15, 2013 14:25:52
Today's creation and the newest addition to my shop is this pattern.

I'm really getting into creating patterns at the moment. I think it's because patterns look so lovely on Society6 cushions.

See more products with this pattern here.

Accidental Torsdagstema

ShopPosted by Cleopetra Thu, January 24, 2013 15:13:19
I accidentally made another image suitable for today's Torsdagstema, "3". It was really not intended at all. My sister asked me if I could do a drawing with Koi fish for my Society6 Shop so I did and was just drawn to making three fish swimming in a circle.

Check out more images and all products featuring my Koi fish illustration here.

Btw, the shop offers free world wide shipping until Sunday!

4 x Geisha

ShopPosted by Cleopetra Tue, January 22, 2013 15:22:20

Geisha 1 / Geisha 2 / Geisha 3 / Geisha 4

Above are 4 cushions from Society6. The first two are my own designs and the other two are other geisha illustrations from the shop that I like.

Japan is always an inspiration for me but at the moment I'm even more interested in illustrations with a Japanese theme.

The first geisha above was one of my very first digital illustrations ages ago and was a gift for a very good friend of mine, the second one I drew last week wanting to show a modern geisha with a hint of pop art.
